I remember seeing Michael Caine in Alfie and the Ipcress File in movie theaters more than 50 years ago. I have appreciated his acting thru Gambit, Hurry Sundown, Sleuth, Educating Rita, Hannah and her Sisters, Secondhand Lions, The Cider House Rules and more. I enjoyed the book though it was more an instruction book for actors than an autobiography. The parts I liked best and would have liked to read more about were the experiences of making his films. There were quite a few repetitions of ideas already expressed, but that is the fault of the editor, not the author. I was pleased to feel that Michael Caine was a person to be liked since I have seen him in so many roles. He never forgot his origins and to be grateful for lessons learned even from a terrible film. I recommend the book. Kristi & Abby Tabby
