The ending is a huge let down, like what? This is it?

The blurb made it sound like there was going to be a bit more interaction between the girls and the killer, but there wasn't. There was huge potential, but it never went anywhere. The book is a girl's drama about dating and betrayal more than it is about online dating and serial killers. It does a good job stringing you along. I could not flip the pages fast enough, because I was looking forward to the ending. I thought there was going to be a big boom, but there wasn't. The ending was a huge letdown.

What bothers me is this line “starting the clock on a race to save her life” there was no race to save anyone’s life. The don’t explore the final twist. And the first twist lasts a chapter and then jumps to fifteen days later. Don’t say that you’re exploring a missing person/ saving someone’s life when you’re not?

I disliked every character except Joan and Harry, but I couldn’t put this one down until I finished it. I’m hoping for a sequel so we can see what happens, especially with Mr. Right Now !

Very interesting novel. Daughters trying to find dates; some mystery; some real surprises! Just be careful what you wish for in a man...could break your heart or worse!!! lol

I have always been a fan of Joy Fielding's work. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed reading her latest novel. I highly recommend it.

I have been reading Joy Fielding for as long as I can remember, and I have always enjoyed her books. This one did not disappoint at all - it was a quick read, included lots of plot twists and turns, but the ending was somewhat predictable. While I wish I hadn't figured the ending out so quickly, it was still fun to read.

A very "bad date" indeed.
