"A treat for Big Little Lies fans." ? People From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Big Little Lies Could ten days at a health resort really change you forever? In Liane Moriarty's latest page-turner, nine perfect strangers are about to find out... Nine people gather at a remote health resort. Some are here to lose weight, some are here to get a reboot on life, some are here for reasons they can't even admit to themselves. Amidst all of the luxury and pampering, the mindfulness and meditation, they know these ten days might involve some real work. But none of them could imagine just how challenging the next ten days are going to be. Frances Welty, the formerly best-selling romantic novelist, arrives at Tranquillum House nursing a bad back, a broken heart, and an exquisitely painful paper cut. She's immediately intrigued by her fellow guests. Most of them don't look to be in need of a health resort at all. But the person that intrigues her most is the strange and charismatic owner/director of Tranquillum House. Could this person really have the answers Frances didn't even know she was seeking? Should Frances put aside her doubts and immerse herself in everything Tranquillum House has to offer ? or should she run while she still can? It's not long before every guest at Tranquillum House is asking exactly the same question. Combining all of the hallmarks that have made her writing a go-to for anyone looking for wickedly smart, page-turning fiction that will make you laugh and gasp, Liane Moriarty's Nine Perfect Strangers once again shows why she is a master of her craft.

I read the comments and didn't have high expectations of this book. I absolutely loved it. She did a great job of developing different characters. I thought the book was pretty humorous at times. This book is different from the way she has written before, but is still an enjoyable, worthwhile read. Several people in my book club also enjoyed it.

Read about 1/4 of the book then took a nap as it was boring. Did not finish it.

Usually like her books. Just could not get in to it at all. Could not even finish, which is rare for me.

Started off asa great read, I was so engrossed, then it took a turn and was all downhill from there. Very disappointing.

Terrible book. Worst of her books. Avoid.

The book started off good then took a weird turn. It was too unrealistic, it dragged on way too long, and you didn't know what was real! I have read several of her books and loved them all. This doesn't even feel like it's from the same author.

Classic Moriarty!!

Nine Perfect Strangers quickly bond during a 10 day wellness retreat at the remote and highly rated Tranquillum House. Each person has a different reason for needing some extra TLC and a bit of healing. The exotic, beautiful owner and her loyal staff know just how to reach each and every guest to ensure their stay is truly life changing….or do they? This retreat will definitely produce some changes, but are they the ones these clients have been hoping for?

The more you learn about Frances, Tony, Jessica, Ben, Carmel, Lars, Heather, Zoe and Napoleon, the more you will fall in love with each and every one of them. There is sadness, depression, anxiety, animosity, insecurity and love….always love.

Pros: A particularly heart wrenching story line was handled beautifully. Mixed with humor and a bit of romance...this book has it all.

Cons: Some highly unlikely scenarios’s fiction...just sit back and enjoy!

I have loved most of Moriarty’s books and I feel she is back on track with this one.

I love Liane Moriarty's books but this one was definitely not her best. It still entertained me thought.

This book had great potential in the beginning. It dragged in the middle, then became bizarre and had too much of a fairy tale ending “.....and everybody lived happily ever after”.

Not a book I would recommend.

I kept hoping I would like this book. But now I can't wait to get it back to the library. Bummed I wasted my time on it. I've enjoyed her other books, but this one is a dud.
