The fourth screen adaptation of the Agatha Christie classic. The star-studded 1974 film and the TV version with David Suchet are both wonderful. So, the real mystery is why they bothered making this one.

I am a big fan of the Hercule Poirot series. This was the absolute worst version I have ever seen. Lets not even talk about that ridiculous mushtache. It disgusted me so much that I shut the movie off.

This DVD won't start.
It seems to have a programmatic problem.

The cinematography is breaktaking, that's the highlight for me. I've seen the original film and like the characters in it a bit more. There seemed to be some wasted film time in the beginning. But overall I enjoyed it and am glad I watched it.

Good actors in a classic tale, great scenery.

This movie was enjoyable because I love Johnny Depp. They did manage to follow the book pretty well. I did not like the 1974 version because I did not like the character who played hercule poirot. The 2010 version with David Suchet is actually my favorite version.

MOVIE IS GOOD BUT NOT AS GOOD AS THE ORIGINAL MOVIE
MORE TIME SPENT ON POIROT CHARACTER THAN ALL OF THE INDIVIDUAL CHARACTERS
IT DRAGGED ON A LITTLE SO I WOULD GIVE IT A 6 OUT OF TEN

Alas, this version is much more focused on visual spectacle than unfolding the mystery itself. The cinematography is self-indulgent, and some of the character interpretations are almost cartoons. Not impressed.

The original is a classic...if they f%$#ed this up, I'll...probably not give 2 s^%$#.

This is a great movie and such an amazing story. Although it doesn't compare to David Suchet's version it is pretty good for a Hollywood movie. It gets a little boring during all the 'interviews', but overall I enjoyed this version of the story. Cinematography, acting, visual effects and costumes were all really well done.
