You can guess this mystery within the first 10 minutes. Filmmaking guide book 101 was clearly used here.

Horns is a bizarre horror/fantasy about the dynamics of good and evil
The film has a solid cast led by Daniel Radcliffe who does a good job showing he has range beyond Harry Potter.
Additionally, the storytelling does a good job at building mystery and intrigue as to both the central murder and the main character's transformation. However, the story ends up being rather formulaic, and the resolution is kind of unsatisfying. Also, there are a couple of unnecessary plot elements that don't really payoff. Yet despite its problems, Horns is an evocative and daring film that explores some interesting themes.
It will serve as a nice, yet strange diversion for a slow Saturday night.

I'm a big Joe Hill fan, particularly the dark humour he employs, so it's fair to say I enjoyed the first half of the film more before it switched into full-on supernatural revenge mode. Good cast of young actors is well complemented by some experienced older hands like Kathleen Quinlan, David Morse and James Remar. Worth watching, although it's hardly the feel-good release of the decade.

An imaginative dark romantic supernatural thriller comedy, in no particular order. Especially enjoyed the hilarious confessions of deepest secrets by kins and acquaintances of the protagonist.

Just beautiful. Did not expect much of this movie, I mean, the guy gets a pair of horns. The acting from Radcliffe was amazing. He is so talented. Ok, some of the content was crude and overused, the sexual comedy was starting to wear a bit thin. Almost lost my attention for a moment at one point. I'm glad i stuck with it though because the movie really ended up delivering, and i didn't see it coming, although i should have...duh. You really don't set yourself to expect much, the movie leads you to hang in your expectations. A lot of funny moments, silly comedy, stupid comedy, and shock comedy. A pretty good mix up that flows well. Then becomes very serious and heartbreaking. Radcliffe has definitely broken his little Harry Potter mold. The tree house sex scene, pretty steamy. I have to say. Wont be watching Harry Potter the same way ever again, that tree house image will hijack all my Hogwarts re-runs.

I want to pick up the book as soon as I can, not sure I'll be able to make/type a worthy comment/review until I read the book.

For me though the movie was quite intriguing and definitely a different type of role for Daniel, I would love to see him in another unique, paranormal sort of role.

I will agree with someone who said that what Ig went through following his love's murder seemed like a weird dream rather then his true reality.

For me though the story line was interesting and I found myself both cringing and wondering what would happen next.

Once again I hope to see Mr. Radcliffe in similar roles as I believe he has the talent and versatility to pull them off.

This movie had so much going for it...except for a coherent story.

The comedy value about the horns provoking compulsive
truth-saying is kind of a one trick pony,
... but there's still enough going on here to hold interest .

Radcliffe's performance helped carry things along.

...but it is long.

I wish that the filmmakers would have stuck to the original story instead of creating one that veers from the original source material. Radcliffe's performance is outstanding, but apart from that, you are really better-off reading Hoe Hill's book.

Opening lines, Ig: Everyone in town always took me for an outsider. I didn't care. The only thing that mattered was her. She was my garden of Eden, and God knows how beautiful it was until that night. No, no one is born evil, the Devil himself was a fallen angel. But sometimes, when you go through hell, the only way out is to walk deeper into the fire.
===
Ig: People say you should always do the right thing, but sometimes there is no right thing, and then... well then you just have to pick the sin you can live with.
===
(Didn't get this completely until towards the end.)
Ig: I'm gonna love you for the rest of my life.
Merrin: Just love me for the rest of mine.
===
Father: Every devil used to be an angel, and now you've fallen from grace forever. When Satan was banished from Heaven, he was cursed to crawl the earth like a snake. There's no hope for you.
