An interesting story despite the predictable plot twists. The female character bugged the bejezzzzes out of me but I would try a different book by Kent cause I could see potential in her style.

I have liked her other books, but this one is a hard slug for me. The LP is definitely not what i consider large, so that adds to the slow progress & makes it less engaging.

THE OUTCASTS is a wonderful western, a brilliantly crafted character study, and a heartbreaking look at the good and evil inside us.

The book was okay – but not one of my favorites.
