For the conclusion of the sextet, Alexandre Dumas brings us The Man in the Iron Mask, an epic story full of love and of adventure. The plot begins to unfold within the first chapters, as the identity of the mysterious prisoner of the Bastille is revealed. d'Artagnan must uncover the plot concerning this enigmatic individual before something calamitous occurs. Meanwhile, the Vicomte Raoul de Bragelonne must learn to face the loss of his love, Louise de la Valliere. I really liked the book; it was outstanding from the very beginning. The plot is fast-paced, and I loved the added mystery to this book. I would recommend this book to anyone who has read the Three Musketeers books, or to anyone who enjoys mysteries or action stories. Out of five, I would rate this book a four point five. Catherine, grade 9, of the Yorba Linda Teen Book Bloggers
