This series will SHATTER whatever view you have of the military being a well oiled effecient machine. This is what most so called war movies AREN'T. Realistic dipiction of the chain of command. Realistic dipiction of said command being an jackass. Realistic dipiction of Rules of engagement being changed on the run whever it suits the ashole in charge. realistic Realistic depictions of DEPRESSING LEVELS OF SHEER STUPIDITY. depictions of soldiers seeing shit THAT WILL scar them for life. This is what war films don't show. It's not good for PR.

It was pretty good and realistic.
The producers had to use cgi to provide most of the vehicles and aircraft but when they used one real helicopter they used the wrong model and wrong paint job. It's the same problem most modern war movies have.

Awesome series - must see - don't expect a lot of action - but so well done!

A realistic look at how soldiers feel fighting something that they are trained for but not knowing why
