Shocking, sad story. Summer's research is amazing, thorough and completely believable. This story is far from over as new truths seem to come out every few years. I remember Marilyn well, she was wonderful on screen and the camera loved her. She invented "Marilyn Monroe" and portrayed her flawlessly for each film. The girl behind the image was someone else entirely and never seemed to find the happiness she craved.
