This book was okay. This is the first book from this series that I've read, so maybe I've missed some context. Out protagonist Stephanie Plum is "a college graduate with no marketable skills" who has worked several years for a bail…
BOTTOM-LINE:
A decent mystery and some fun characters that don't try to kill Stephanie
.
PLOT OR PREMISE:
Stephanie gets a dream job -- undercover in an ice-cream factory -- while Lulu, Randy and Grandma are trying to make a naked…

More mystery than madcap, LOL antics of previous Stephanie Plum novels. Is the author trying to reposition Stephanie's career and artfully resolve the Ranger-Morelli tension in a way that can breathe new life into the series?
This book…

Pretty much what I would expect from this series. A read that takes little effort and provides a few good chuckles. I could, however, do without the gratuitous support of transphobia, which seemed like a cheap way to try to get a laugh
I love this series. Great characters, laugh out loud funny. I think it's great that she can bounce between Ranger and Joe. Don't we all wish we could have such yummy guys in our lives? I hope this series go on for a long, long time!
I came across this series by accident. It was sitting at a bus stop and I've always been interested in something new and fresh. After One for the Money, I wanted to read more and have been following Stephanie for the longest of years now,…

I still enjoy the books about Stephanie Plum. I have stopped reading any others JE writes, I may try the Diesel Wicked series someday. I always love Ranger and Stephanie's scenes. I like Morelli too. Grandma is great, and the family…
Boring, formulaic, same old same old. And, call me old-fashioned but I really object to her sleeping with both Ranger & Morelli in the same book :( I stopped buying Evanavitch's books long ago, now this is the last one I read from the…

I have to leave Stephanie now before she becomes a nightmare. I've loved her up until now but Janet Evanovich isn't putting any effort into moving her or her lovely men on. It almost feels as if Ms Evanovich is going through the motions…

Excellent book for entertainment and travel! Grandma Mazur is always full of surprises and makes me laugh hard.

Sigh! TURBO TWENTY-THREE offers nothing new or fresh in this long-standing series. When our feisty heroine, Stephanie Plum, burst on the literary scene 20+ years ago, creator and author Janet Evanovich challenged fans of the traditional…

After 23 books I'm ready for Stephanie Plum to choose: Ranger or Morelli. I will miss Lula and Grandma, but even their antics are getting a bit tired. My opinion....time to wrap this series up!

Boring and trite. One scene did make me laugh out loud, for several pages. But for the life of me, I can't remember now what it was about. I highly recommend you pass on this one. For fun, casual reads I much prefer Sophie Kinsella.

I have read every book in this series. They are always funny even if totally impossible or improbable situations that make you shake your head. But I think she has come to the end of the line in this series. 22 was stupid and not as funny…

I keep reading the next plum novel in hopes that it would improve. Sadly, this is by far the worst I have read. Hardly any quality scenes with Morelli and Ranger, it seems like normal that its okay she can provocatively kiss Ranger while…
