Archer is a master of commonplace intrigue and is best when concentrating on one primary character. This book got slightly bogged down in the early latter half, but the court proceedings were phenomenal.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am in awe of Jeffrey Archer's story-telling skills. Beautifully crafted and could'nt put the book down. I loved the ending and enjoyed the "cast" of characters

This is the only Archer book I have read, but probably not the last. I love revenge themed books such as, the one this was based off of The Count of Monte Cristo. This disappointed me towards the end, but overall I would recommend it.
