To stand in the moon’s shadow during a total solar eclipse is one of the most spectacular natural events that a person can experience. Many people are so moved after experiencing a total eclipse that they make plans to see more of them.
On April 8, 2024, people in Dayton will have that opportunity—something that has not happened here since 1395. Brian Woodruff has travelled to 16 total eclipses since 1970.
In this talk, he will explain what happens during a total solar eclipse and will tell you what to expect during the event. He will highlight some of his experiences from past eclipse that he has been to.
Take a pair of solar eclipse glasses home with you!
